Tools for Humanity is a non-profit International humanitarian and  development organization based in USA and Canada.       Tools for Humanity are dedicated to focus on the root causes of poverty, refugees/IDPs, civil wars and famine African and globally.

Our goal...

To increase and support the participation of marginalized Refugees/ IDP individuals and  families in the economic and social development of their communities. Initiatives such as T4H Institute(Vocational and Leadership Skills),  Somali New Action Projects(SNAP) Program, Women and youth Social-Enterprise and Cooperatives to empower low income communities and give them the means to craft their own destinies and sustainable livelihood.

We, Tools for Humanity are celebarating 2010 as diversity year in the humanitarian services in Africa, we are requesting our partners and supports like UN, EU, OIC, AU, CIDA, USAID and International NGOs give more attention to Local NGOs and build their capacity to serving their communities in the humanitarian and development. 

We, Tools for Humanity support institutional strengthening and enhancing local NGO, local communities and local government in post conflict countries Somalia/ Somaliland/Puntland and Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya which requires urgent intervention for capacity building in order to overcome post conflict challenges in Peace and security of the region.

We Hope, that the UN and International community will give more attention in establishing projects to eradicate poverty, Violence and manmade wars in the region.
