    Tools for Humanity have a programs and services for low income families, immigrant and refugee women/girls in Canada. 

    We provide knowledge based women small business start-ups, cooperative and social enterprise training for disadvantage families, single mothers and at risk girls in Canada(Toronto and Edmonton).

    This program is to help immigrant women and out of school girls to start their own business and build skills necessary for a sustainable lively hood and out of poverty, most of these individuals have a home-based or informal micro enterprise and planning to becoming economically self-sufficient which requires skills and micro finance to provide goods and services in their community.

    Family Crisis counselling(referrals)

    Job search workshops
    Micro-credit and resources development
    Self-employment and small business choaching

    Youth Career & Leadership Training  

    Tools for humanity’s goal of this program are to facilitate and promote services for low income communites, immigrant and refugee newcomers into youth engagement, civic participation and to integrateinto Canada's mainstream society.

    T4H's youth and career program is a youth model public private partnership with settlement agencies, business groups and community base organizations to introduce and mobilize youth ages 15-35 years, who are student or out-of –school, at risk youth and youth at crises stage to uplift through skill training and capacity builing. The youth career and leadership opportunity program is design to assist their integration  and reintegration to mainstream workforce with accessing services relating to their education and skills. The overall goal of the program is to work directly with diversity low income and immigrant youth groups to assist them build a solid foundation upon which to enhance their leadership and enterprenourship. In particular, this project main objectives is help them build the social network skill and apply business enterprise skills to strengthen their youth development and Social enterprises.

    To value our youth learning and recognize the importance of their entrepreneurship skills and social network

    To motivate, envision and enthuse youth to develop their creativety and cooperative enterprise ideas

  • Social Enterpreneurship Based Leadership

    Social Entrepreneurship Based Leadership is practical tool to build leadership skills in employees, clients, board members and others. Topics cover leadership and change, self-awareness, trust, motivation, communication, teamwork and increase the effectiveness of private and public agencies at every level of your organization. Also to provide a innovative approach and basic introduction to interactive, fun, hands-on the practical methods of community economic development and cooperatives in adult education workshop settings.

  • Community Based Training

     

    Community Capacity Building and Economic Integration is designed for those working with local government(municipalities), local non-profit organizations, community-based organizations,  adult learning training center.

    the program is to work directly with diversity stakeholders to assist them build a solid foundation upon which to enhance their business, adult education skills and leadership. In particular, this program main objectives is help them build the capacity and sharing traditional experience in Community Economic Development(CED) through cooperative models. a pre-training readings, present some cooperative inter-learning theory and practical strategies for organizing the CED and  community-based training to assist people working in their own communities.

    Consultancy is multi disciplined strategic consultancy services  for the local government, Local community base organizations (CBO) and International Non-Governmental orgnizations(NGOs) in areas of  capacity building, participant democracy, conflict resolution, donator and resource development through community economic development and technical training.
